Alkalarian Self-Care: Biking

It's a hot, humid, great holiday end to the long weekend that I'm finishing with a rhythmic, moving activity that helps promote breathing, movement of lymph, mindfulness and general good health: Biking
Minneapolis is a very bike-friendly community, and there are lots of alkalizing-promoting bike trails along creeks, lakes, bike boulevards spaced regularly throughout neighborhoods, and Nice Ride (a non-profit bike sharing system sponsored by HealthPartners insurance company).

Other Self-Care

This is a quick post, but I wanted to follow-up with more self-care inspirations. I made a quick, highly alkalizing salad (except for one tiny ingredient, which I'll explain):
I used organic mixed greens, heirloom cherry tomatoes, cucumber, celery, organic green peppers (red peppers would also work well), olive oil, and Bragg's Liquid Aminos.
Ummmm... I also sprinkled a little mozzarella cheese on this salad. While cheese isn't alkalizing by itself, I still more than followed Dr. Robert Young's rule that 80%+ of a meal should be uncooked and alkaline.
It was delicious!
